Various types of digital content were converted to 3gp format, optimized for mobile playback and distributed to attendees at the 2008 Vancouver International Game Summit. Distribution was through the FireTonic™ platform utilizing Bluetooth technology. Over the course of the four day event, Vancouver International Game Summit and Vancouver International Digital Festival, Razor distributed over 800MB worth of content. At an average download rate of $0.05 per KB, this amount of data downloaded through conventional Mobile Carrier Networks would have cost attendees over $40,000 in data charges.
